||Ms. Kömives joined Dudley, Topper and Feuerzeig, LLP in May, 2015 as Of Counsel. Subsequent to her attendance at Bryn Mawr College, graduating with honor, Ms. Kömives graduated from the University of Miami School of Law, also with honors. She returned to her home of St. Thomas in 2010 to be closer to her family.
Ms. Kömives has concentrated her practice in the areas of contract law, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, telecommunications, intellectual property, premises liability and personal injury defense. She also has had occasion to work on real property and products liability cases. Representative reported decisions prior to joining Dudley, Topper and Feuerzeig, LLP include:

Upon graduation, Ms. Kömives began practicing law in Miami with a boutique litigation firm handling cases in both state and federal court that primarily involved employment discrimination, insurance coverage, misuse of intellectual property, premises liability and breach of commercial contracts and leases. Seeking additional practice experience, Ms. Kömives then moved to a large national firm and continued to work primarily on insurance coverage and breach of contract cases, including defending a statewide class action lawsuit against a multinational corporation.
While in law school at the University of Miami, Ms. Kömives was a law review editor, the author of a published law review article, on the Dean’s List, recipient of two Dean’s Awards for excellence in legal scholarship and a member of the Moot Court Board.
Ms. Kömives is a member of the Bar in the United States Virgin Islands and Florida. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court of the Virgin Islands, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the Supreme Court of the U.S. Virgin Islands
In 2010, Ms. Kömives was selected by the American Bar Association as a presenter/panelist for an ABA seminar (CLE) on the lack of federal voting rights for U.S. citizens residing in US territories, the subject of her law review article.
Additionally, Ms. Kömives recently served a two year term on the Board of Directors of the Humane Society of St. Thomas.
